Obituary For Albert L. Turner

Albert Leonard Turner, beloved by many, departed his earthly life and went home to be with his heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 2, 2023. He was born on August 25, 1952, in Norfolk,Virginia. He was born to the late Otelia Turner and Johnny Frank Wilson.

Albert was raised by the Rev. John A. Clark and Edna M. Clark in Bells Mills, Chesapeake Va. He retired from Lone Star Concrete Company Bells Mill, Chesapeake. He attended Crestwood High School and he possess various hobbies, interests and so forth.

Albert Leonard Turner loved God. He joined the Making A Difference Bible Holiness Church in October 2020 under the leadership of Bishop Leroy Burton. He loved his Pastor and Church Family. It was an honor and privilege for him to worship God with the saints. Regardless of the pain he bored. He always had a zeal to attend Church to Praise and Worship God. His favorite word was Hallelujah! He never complained, he just wanted to know the where about his wife Linda.

Albert Leonard Turner is preceded by his parents, Otelia Turner and Johnny Frank Wilson; siblings: Geraldine Turner, Minnie Turner Malone, Delora Turner K Gibbs and Johnnie Frank Turner. He leaves to cherish his memories his lovely wife, Sister Linda Stallworth Turner, one Son, Kahlif Stallworth(Ana Ruby), two daughters, Keena Wilkinson (John Wilkinson) and Twakita Stallworth (Guy Franklin). Seven grandchildren, Akena, Desmond, Asia Arie, and Zakari Stallworth, Jahzire Ross, Taylor Clark, and Kalen Alexandra Lee Johnson, two great-grandchildren, Jasmine Wilkinson, and Kannon Stallworth. His living siblings: sisters; Christine O. Turner of Norfolk and Diane O. Turner of Norfolk, Trina Clark, Chesapeake, and his living brothers: Randolph Turner (wife Cynthia (White)Turner of Chesapeake, and Leroy Turner of Chesapeake, John Clark of Virginia Beach and A beautiful Mother-in-Law, Loretta Stallworth of Chesapeake, VA and Father-in-Law, Eura Stallworth. Two Sisters-in- Laws, Rochelle & Reverend Gerard Smith, Dana Mayo of Chesapeake, VA three brothers in laws Donald Stallworth of Bowie Maryland, Michael (Mary) Stallworth of Atlanta GA. and Ernest (Michelle)
Stallworth of Chesapeake, VA six Aunts, Barbara Irby, Gwendolyn Hawkins, and Dr. Rosetta Hawkins-Jones, Lovie Hawkins Phyllis Stallworth & Annette Stallworth
Additional family members; cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was surrounded by love and support from his wife and children and grand and great grandchildren. He was greatly loved by all who knew him. He will truly be missed. The word of God say’s To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Rest In Heaven!

A funeral service will be held 12pm Tuesday; October 10, 2023 at Making A Difference Bible Holiness Church; 1251 Kempsville Road, Norfolk, VA. Please Keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
