My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Horace. I met him back around 1987 when I moved to Virginia. I was looking for a team to join to play softball. My fondest memory of spending time with him came later after moving to Pittsburgh. I came home and had a small family gathering at my family's farm and Joanne and Horace came. After everyone left we stayed up all night long talking and reminiscing about playing ball with the DC Controllers. He will be missed. ❤️

I'm deeply sorry for the family's loss. It's a testament to Horace's character that he was like a father figure to me. Remembering his kindness, guidance and support, I will always hold a special place in my heart. There is no greater memory than the sound of his laugh. May his memories of our fun times drown out the sound of my cries. My life has been blessed through his friendship. He maybe gone but the impact he had on my life will live through cherished and heartfelt memories. You will be missed! JoAnn 😘

Horace is a personal friend of mine and my husband. We shared many memories on the softball field. He would stop by our house if he saw one of us outside and we would chat about the old softball days. He is one of my favorite coaches. My husband and I love Horace and we pray for his loved ones during this time. Danny and Trish ollins
